Dear Mr. President, Honorable Members of Congress and Distinguished Staff and Fine Citizens,

On addressing the root causes of the current shortfalls of the US health care (non) system, one should conclude that all fingers point to government. It is obvious that elected officials are often too busy paying back their campaign donors rather than addressing the needs of their constituents.

Therefore, it is hard to expect a significant improvement of the current US health care (non) system without true election reform that frees our politicians from the grip of campaign donors and returns the government control to us, “the people.”  Simply put, fixing the US Health care requires election reform that will supplant career politicians with dedicated statesmen.

Some (Mr. Jesse Wegman is a member of the Times editorial board, where he writes about democracy, law and politics and Mr. Lee Drutman is a senior fellow at New America and the author of Breaking the Two-Party Doom Loop: The Case for Multiparty Democracy in America) observe that there are solutions to election reform.  As you invest significant time and energy in their elegant thesis, please appreciate elegant solutions for health care reform are also possible.   How to Fix America's Two-Party System NYT's

Leadership, thank you again for your decent, kind consideration of these matters.

Elegant artwork.

Health reform in sync with election reform (or vice versa).

I sense I am starting to get it.

Stay tuned...
